Founder and Floral Designer
Hi, I’m Aimee, a floral designer, mum of two, and the hands behind Freedom Floristry here in Tītahi Bay.
For me, floristry is freedom. It’s my creative escape from the corporate grind and the beautiful chaos of parenting. When I’m designing, everything else fades away. It’s my way to slow down, tune in, and bring a bit of calm and beauty into the world.
I specialise in dried and preserved florals for weddings, homes, and events across Porirua, Wellington, and beyond. I love working with natural tones and soft textures to create arrangements that feel timeless, thoughtful, and last beautifully far beyond delivery.
With two decades of floristry experience in New Zealand, Australia, and London, I’ve developed a style that’s refined but relaxed, detailed but natural. Every piece I design is made with care to reflect your story, your space, and the feeling you want to create.

Delivery
Hand delivery is available in Titahi Bay and Porirua City on selected dates. For all other locations, I ship across New Zealand using NZ Post. North Island orders usually arrive within 1–2 working days, and South Island orders typically take 2–3 working days. Please allow one day for me to prepar
e your order before it’s dispatched.
For North Island deliveries, I use NZ Post’s overnight service, so most orders arrive on the day you’ve requested. While every effort is made to ensure timely delivery, NZ Post can’t guarantee overnight delivery, and exact arrival dates can’t be confirmed.
At checkout, you’ll see the item price, delivery cost, and an estimated delivery timeframe based on your location and when you place your order.
A selection of dried floral arrangements is also available at Tbay Café, in the Whitehouse Road shops, Titahi Bay. If you’re picking up from the café, please select the “Buying from Tbay Cafe” option at checkout.

Most arrangements are made to order in the studio, but if you need something sooner, there are always premade arrangements available at Tbay Café on Whitehouse Road in Titahi Bay. I also often have a few ready in the studio, so just give me a call if you’re in a hurry - I’m happy to help.
